Really cool little museum. Had lots of fun

And an unexpected delight: I bought a $1.25 chocolate bar in the gift shop made by a local company. Omg, Amazing! (If dark, rich, Belgium chocolate is your taste). If had opened it before I got back in the car, I would have bought more. I seriously considered turning around.

Charming olde time musuem. Wonderful guide. I learned all sorts of things...who would have thought petroleum could be so interesting! How oil was discovered, why PA oil was so highly valued...(and it saved the great whales from extinction!) What different oils look like, how they managed to pump it out...spoiler: Zippo lighters in every miners tool kit!

Very interesting info and history about the area and the industry too

This was very educational, the Employee will tell you how everything works, he goes out of his way to be helpful!

We had gotten there just after it closed, but the outside exhibit was still open. We were granted permission to walk through it and see the equipment for ourselves.
